Game Development
Versus With Verses
An in-progress Unity project combining game design, API integration, and Azure services.
Current Active Project
Versus With Verses is my active game project. It blends my original specialty in Unity game design with the backend and cloud engineering skills I use professionally: API utilization, service boundaries, Azure deployment, and configuration-aware infrastructure.
The project is still in progress, so I am presenting it as active development rather than a finished product. The direction is to make a Unity experience that can rely on external content and cloud-backed services without turning the game code into a tangle of direct platform assumptions.
Technical Blend
Unity Game Design
Gameplay flow, interaction design, C# implementation, scene structure, and player-facing iteration.
API-Driven Content
The companion Bible API work supports passage retrieval, translation metadata, recommended versions, and normalized responses.
Azure Services
The API is designed for Azure Container Apps, ACR-based image builds, secret-backed app keys, and cloud log inspection.
Separation of Concerns
The Unity client can consume purpose-built endpoints instead of directly owning external provider details.
Why It Matters
This project is a good representation of where my work is heading: creative game systems supported by real backend services. It connects the game-development degree, Unity practice, API design, and Azure operations into one coherent project.
