Game Development

Overview

Unity game design backed by professional software engineering, API integration, and cloud delivery.

Game Development Background

My path into software started with games. I graduated from Kennesaw State University with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Game Design and Development, then carried that systems-minded game background into professional C#, .NET, frontend, backend, and Azure work.

That mix matters: game development taught me to think in loops, feedback, interaction, constraints, player experience, and performance. Professional engineering sharpened the other half of the craft: APIs, data boundaries, cloud services, testing, deployment, and maintainable architecture.

Current Direction

Unity & C#

Core gameplay systems, UI flow, mobile release work, platform constraints, and iterative tuning.

API Utilization

Using external data and custom service layers to support gameplay features that reach beyond a local-only game loop.

Azure Services

Applying cloud hosting, secret-backed configuration, and operational habits from web engineering to game-adjacent services.

Independent Shipping

Owning the path from prototype to published App Store release, including build, polish, submission, and follow-through.

Active Work

My active game project is Versus With Verses, an in-progress Unity project that brings together game design, API-driven content, and Azure-backed services. It is the clearest overlap between my game design foundation and my current backend/cloud specialty.
